Biography
Pr. Noureddine ALLOUCHE is a full professor in chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences of Sfax (FSS) and Head of the Natural Substances Team in the Laboratory of Organic Chemistry. His research activity is documented by about 80 scientific peer-reviewed papers (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Noureddine_Allouche) with an h-index of 14 and 908 citations, 2 chapters in two books and 2 patents, dealing with the extraction, isolation identification and biological activities of natural substances as well as treatment and valorization of industrial wastes. He leads a research group of more than 20 researchers. Pr. Noureddine ALLOUCHE prepared his Ph.D. Thesis (2000-2005) dealing with the treatment and valorization of olive mill waste. He has performed a Post-doc training (2006-2007) in the Institute of Natural Products Chemistry of CNRS, Gif-sur-Yvette, France. He participated in an INCO-MED project ‘‘contract ICA3-CT2002-10033’’ (2002-2004) entitled: ‘‘ New technologies for olive mill wastewater detoxification and product recoveryâ€. Pr. ALLOUCHE was/is a national coordinator of four European projects: FP7, ARIMNET, H2020 and Erasmus+
